It's been that way now for 25 years for Bill's Auto Body and owners Bill and Renee Waddell who have had their collision repair business at 24408 Greenway Ave., just north off US 8 one mile east of US 61.

Bill's Auto Body is a certified repair shop for over a dozen major insurance companies. When body repairs are needed, working through a direct repair shop is a breeze. "All you have to do is report the accident to your insurance company," he adds. "It's like one call and one stop." The staff at Bill's takes it from there. If your insurance company is not part of the direct repair network, not to worry. The staff at Bill's stands ready to handle all your claim details once the accident is reported. "The rest we can do," Bill says.

Working as a direct repair shop does not come automatically. "We have to meet the criteria to be a direct repair company," Renee says. That means the shop must meet a rigorous approval process for training and equipment. And all work is guaranteed for as long as the customer owns the vehicle. The efficiency of the Bill's Auto Body business starts with its well trained staff and ends with a shop that is equipped with the most up-to-date equipment needed for today's cars and trucks.

The staff recently gained the expertise of Wayde Houle who joined the business as production manager. Houle assigns work to the shop staff and follows the progress from the first wash to the final quality control inspection.
